Who is Betty-Lou Luyken?

My whole life has been about animals. In a later stage of my life - after having spent most of my time with horses - I discovered wildlife and nature photography, which is a great addition to my interest in wildlife, nature and the environment.

Through my photography I hope to contribute to the conservation of wildlife and nature. I think that photography can never impose on nature. The images on this website have been made with the utmost respect for the animals and their habitat. I invite everyone to enjoy and I hope that they will give the viewer a little bit of the breathtaking feeling that nature can give.

In the Netherlands I also do photoshoots of horses and pets. I always photograph the animal in its own environment fot the most natural result.
