As a satisfied Konika Minolta user during the time I used film it was a logical step for me to start using Sony equipment. As soon as Sony released their first digital SLR, the Alpha 100 I immediately purchased it. In july 2007 I also purchased the Alpha 700. Although I am very happy with the these camaras and the Sony lenses I regretted the fact that Sony did not release a supertelelens like 500 or 600 mm, so I was thinking about changing to Canon or Nikon.

Fate made that decision for me, because I was offered an occasion Canon 600 mm f4.0 telelens. Beacause of this lens I needed a Canon camera as well, so I purchased the Canon 60D.

De lenses I now use are:

Sony 70-200 mm f2.8,Sigma 170-500 mm Apo f5-6.3, Sony 18-70 mm f3.5-5.6.,Minolta 28-100 mm f3.5-5.6., Sigma 50 mm macro f2.8., Sigma 105 mm macro f2.8. And of course the Canon 600 mm f4.

Other accessories are:

Metz flashgun 54MZ-3, Sony viewfinder, Gitzo tripod GT2330 with ballhead G1178M andNatureStuff swinghead.

For storage of my images during my travels I use a Vosonic VP2160 (40GB) and a Vosonic VP8860 (250GB)
